
Larry Reid
Larry is a co-founder of Operation Red, White and Bike. Larry is a retired training and development professional from the energy industry and has worked extensively overseas. Larry and his wife Marcia live in League City, Texas and own a small business in Kemah, Texas. Larry's main hobby is cycling; he and Marcia are keen line dancers. Rob, also a co-founder, is a retired Lieutenant Colonel; he is enlisted in the US Army in 1979. He graduated The Citadel (Class of 1982) and served 24 years in the Infantry and Civil Military Affairs. He is pictured at a school that his team rebuilt in Jalalabad, Afghanistan. Rob was the Commander of the Jalalabad Provincial Reconstruction Team from 2003 to 2004 and is the recipient of a Bronze Star medal.


Laura Bowman graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Education and has been teaching in the Cy-Fair School District for 22 years. She is the proud mother of two teenaged sons and is active in her community. Laura brings a special knowledge of children that has added real value to Operation Red, White and Bike.

Catherine Jackson comes to our Board after an extensive career in the energy industry with Exxon/Mobile, Amoco and BP. After 20 years, starting with Amoco Production, Catherine retired from BP in 2006 and over the pass few years has worked for several oil & gas related businesses. Catherine is currently a Global Mobility Advisor for Huntsman LLC in The Woodlands. Catherine has three children serving in the military and is passionate about her support of our nation’s military and our military families.
